A delegation of Vasai Janandolan samiti, led by MLA Vivek Pandit, yesterday visited Rajbhavan & requested Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan to direct the state Government to issue final notification for the 35 villages that have opposed to get incorporated into the proposed Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation. The delegation said the Government should also take into account the plea made by the Village Panchayats of some of the remaining 18 villages expressing their opposition to their incorporation in the proposed Municipal Corporation.The Governor has assured the delegation that he will take up the matter with the Chief Minister.During the discussion with Governor Mr.Vijay Machado & Mr.Sachin Mendes has explained role of Vasai’s youth in entire agitation process & also updated
